John Vines created ACCUMULO-2449:
------------------------------------

             Summary: user's can't specify VFS_CLASSLOADER_CACHE_DIR with
system variables like the default
                 Key: ACCUMULO-2449
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACCUMULO-2449
             Project: Accumulo
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: start
            Reporter: John Vines
            Priority: Minor

via code analysis-
VFS_CLASSLOADER_CACHE_DIR's key is defined in AccumnuloVFSClassLoader. However,
it explicitly declares it's value in the same format as it's created, rather
then using a String defined in AccumuloVFSClassloader as well. This could lead
to schisming.

But more importantly, AccumuloVFSClassloaders builds that path by extracting
system properties to build the path. If a user declares the default value
($java.io.tmpdor/accumulo-cfs-cache-${user.name}), it will not work as
intended. I'm fairly certain if I put that value in my accumulo-site, it won't
get broken down in the same way. Default values should behave the same way as
both the default value and being declared in the site.xml
