Sean Busbey created ACCUMULO-2473:
-------------------------------------
Summary: User manual for 1.5 should not reference local WALs
Key: ACCUMULO-2473
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACCUMULO-2473
Project: Accumulo
Issue Type: Bug
Components: docs
Affects Versions: 1.5.1
Reporter: Sean Busbey
Assignee: Josh Elser
Fix For: 1.5.2
Per our [release
guidelines|http://accumulo.apache.org/governance/releasing.html#releasing],
release notes should include details on clusters used for tests.
Right now, the [1.5.1 release notes don't include
any|http://accumulo.apache.org/release_notes/1.5.1.html].
Here's the list of vote emails that include test lists and cluster details:
* [~elserj] : [tests, cluster

There were a couple of other notes of testing, but they either didn't list
cluster details or were for things not on the formal test list: either manual
checks of particular commands or test durations in the 1-4 hours range. I think
[~ctubbsii] ran the functional tests, but I couldn't tell from his email if the
VM cluster set up he described was the one used for it.
Formatting should be something like Keith's suggestion from ACCUMULO-1797.
