The merge from 1.4.5-SNAPSHOT to 1.5.2-SNAPSHOT was not clean, but I
hand-edited the Markdown to ensure that it worked out, making updates based on
changes made from 1.4 to 1.5 in the READMEs (e.g., package changes, tool
invocation changes). Git was only able to notice a couple of README/README.md
pairs as renames with changes, so the rest had to be done by hand.
The merges up to 1.6 and master were simple after that.
