okay, on 1.7 the Kerberos*ITs passed once I stood up a n1-standard-4 on GCE to
run the build (they can't run as-is on my laptop). Also tested manually in a
small cluster deployment. Since the server logins are essentially the same on
1.6, I think that should suffice.
