I'd also point out that Apache HBase has started using {{clusterdock}} (see:
[Cloudera blog

with [our own topology|https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HBASE-12721] that
spins up a cluster from source or binary bits in pre-created images within a
minute. [We now have automation that uses this for
tests|https://builds.apache.org/job/HBase-master-IntegrationTestBigLinkedList/]
I'd *love* to create such a topology for Apache Accumulo if there's interest.
