ghajos opened a new pull request #373: ACCUMULO-4709 sanity check in Mutation URL: https://github.com/apache/accumulo/pull/373 - set the size limit to 2GB in Mutation class - modified the thrift api to void recalculation of mutation size after deserialization. In this way the api is not backward compatible. Please let me know if it should be done without thrift api change.
