It occurs to me that even if we could get this working, during recovery it would be possible that it could repeatedly fail and each new attempt would fill DFS even more as it kept trying. Given the increasing complexity of this issue, and the potential for downsides, with the upside being not entirely clear, I'm thinking that this issue has been explored enough, and this, along with #1303 should be closed. ---------------------------------------------------------------- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
