   As a follow up to #2185, it would be good to test that old temporary WALs 
are removed and the original WALs are resorted after upgrade. This is a little 
tricky to test manually, as you need to make sure the table is recovering but 
also have unloaded tablets (before the data is flushed to disk). If there are 
no references to the data in WALs and temporary sorted files get removed, the 
GC will remove the WALs rather quickly. We need to make sure the GC isn't 
removing all of the old WALs as they could contain data. Testing this using 
Continuous Ingest will be easier as you can verify there was no data lost.
