Everyone agrees this is a bad approach and leveraging the SPI as discussed should be used by users. There are also discussions of nesting / wrapping Errors with Exceptions that can occur (similar to what this looked like) in PR 3396 - users and libraries that wrap Errors with Exceptions need to evaluate the expectations of the UncaughtExceptionHandler and the expected consequences when running in a thread. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
