   > This was one of your earlier suggestions, but is not implemented at this 
time. This currently supports a table being assigned to a single resource 
group. I wonder if we should let users use this first and provide feedback on 
how they want it to operate. Also, they could extend TableLoadBalancer and do 
this for themselves.
   
   If the SPI supports the functionality, then it would be good to ensure it 
actually works.  This could be done via implementing a simple balancer plugin 
in the test code and not using anything built into accumulo.  This could be a 
follow on issue, if the SPI does support per tablet decisions.  The current SPI 
does partially work at the tablet level, an impl of the getAssignments method 
could send different tablets in a table to different tserver groups.  So making 
this new method to check group alignment is as expected work at the tablet 
level would make it consistent with getAssignments.
