I wonder if another alternative is an iterator that can be used at minc/majc to log the problem reports, but not return them from the iterator such that they are removed from the root and metadata tables. Additionally, another iterator applied at scan time could skip any problem report keys in the same tables. Just thinking about a potential solution that doesn't require a lot of code modification to the existing code given that it's removed in 4.0. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
