Two more ideas I was thinking as follow-on: 1. normalize the checksums to lowercase or compare case-insensitive, and 2. support more checksum types than just SHA-256 (e.g. SHA512); possibly auto-detect which supported type based on length; for SHA3 or other types, it may be necessary to include the sha algorithm name if the lengths are the same as another supported type, and that might have other implications with the local cache file naming conventions -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
