I get similar problems (mode 000) with something like:
<jar jarfile="${dist.jar}" basedir="${build}">
<zipgroupfileset dir="${mergedir}" includes="*.jar" />
</jar>
The jar files in ${mergedir} have been created with Sun's jar which doesn't
include a unix mode.
