Transitive dependency failures do not identify originating depender

If a dependency of the project has transitive dependencies that cannot be
located through the resolver, the build will fail, but there will be no
indication as to which direct dependency the transitive dependency came from.
(I wonder if I could use the word 'dependency' any more?)
