Erik-Berndt Scheper commented on IVYDE-101:
-------------------------------------------
Sorry, I must have been blind not to find the original issue which I've
duplicated.
Despite the fact that you say it's not trivial, I am convinced that this will
help promote IvyDE usage amongst Eclipse developers. Maybe you can move
IVYDE-44 to the roadmap for 2.0?
> Integrate Ivy classpath container with Web-app libraries in Eclipse WTP

> It would be *very* nice if the dependencies resolved by the classpath
> container of IVYDE could be integrated with the Web App Libraries provided by
> the Eclipse Web Tools Project (WTP). Currently it is not possible to use the
> Jar's resolved by IVYDE (and their source attachments) in a WTP Server
> (resulting in NoClassDefFound errors). Therefore it is still necessary to
> manually copy the jars into the WEB-INF/lib folder and thereby loose the
> source-attachments. This problem would then be resolved.
> However, care should be taken that IVYDE will not require Eclipse WTP to run,
> so this will probably be a tricky integration.
