Jan Matèrne commented on IVY-559:
---------------------------------
Referring to https://ant.apache.org/ivy/history/latest-milestone/settings.html
Maybe clarify that <resolvers> just defines the resolvers and you have to use
them via module/@resolver or settings/@defaultResolver.
Just additional thoughts
- What is the behaviour if you 'use' a resolver with it not defined?
- What if you define a resolver but never use that?
> Improve documentation for resolver

> Affects Versions: 2.0.0-alpha-1

> Priority: Minor
>
> In ivysettings.xml the <resolvers> element can contain multiple resolver
> configurations. The documentation does not say anything (at least I haven't
> found that) how these parallel resolvers handle the request and how this is
> related to <chain> or <dual> resolver.
