In my use case, I manage Consumers, Groups, and Plugins via the API. After updating to the latest version, all of these resources were removed from the environment. I had to restore from an etcd backup and downgrade the ingress-controller to recover. My routes, services, and upstreams are managed by CRDs and API calls, while consumers and groups are only managed through API calls.
