@FIREcup There was no GA-ready Gateway API support in 1.8; it was experimental. A feature requiring selective enabling. Robust Gateway API support and consistency are certainly our objectives, hence we have undertaken significant work towards this in AIC 2.0. In fact, the Gateway API support in AIC 2.0-rc now far surpasses that of 1.x, and we have achieved a completely seamless upgrade experience (you need not modify old configurations; simply create some new CRDs). We will no longer provide updates for 1.x; new features and fixes will be developed on 2.0.
