Thanks for the detailed feedback and for confirming the multi-realm use case. I agree with the concerns around routing on an unverified claim and with the architectural issue of resolving Consumers inside the openid-connect plugin, which would bypass the existing auth plugin contract and centralized Consumer Group merge logic. I'll explore the routing-layer approach you suggested and prototype a solution that selects the realm before authentication runs.
