The red CI is unrelated to this change. The failures are in the `t/plugin/[l-z]*` group — `openwhisk.t` (action runtime timeout) and `skywalking2.t` (timing-dependent `grep_error_log_out`) — neither of which runs `cas-auth`. The `[a-k]` group that actually exercises `cas-auth.t` (including the new test here) passes. These same flaky tests are currently red on `master` too, so it looks like an environment issue rather than anything from this PR.
