@Baoyuantop could alternatives to [lua-resty-kafka](https://github.com/doujiang24/lua-resty-kafka) be analyzed. That project seems to be unmaintained. The last commit is from 2.5 years ago, issues have no replies, and the original author seem to have shifted to other endeavors as now their [profile](https://github.com/doujiang24) says they are a _former core developer of OpenResty_.
