@jackiechan1981 The earlier mock test deliberately stalled the TLS handshake, so both versions timed out. This does not mean both versions have the same bug. A TCP connection timeout can also produce this error. Your configuration already uses HTTPS, and the logs show that DNS resolution completed before the approximately 30-second wait. We need to distinguish whether the connection stalled during TCP establishment or the TLS handshake. We tested 3.14.1 and 3.16.0 with controlled local upstreams but have not reproduced a 3.16-only failure. Could you capture the upstream traffic from the APISIX container’s network namespace during a failure and run a direct request from the same environment, using the same destination IP and hostname/SNI?
