Summary: Separate degree-of-parallelism between computation and
storage

Currently, the parallelism of computation (i.e., query processing) is the same
as that of the storage. We need to separate these two parallelism
configurations to allow more flexible query processing, which fits the
environment that there are many more cores than disks.
