Hi Markus,
I'm a designer at IBM, and I've been working with Ben Keen to try and
improve/standardize the replication experience across both Cloudant and Couch.
It'd be great if you wanted to work together on incorporating some of these
featture-improvements. I'll attach the video showing a prototype of what we
have so far, though we've still been working out some details.
What Ben and I have been working on could be for "simple" replication, with a
tab making features (as described above) for advanced replication scenarios
available.
Can you provide some more information on your thesis, and how it relates to the
CouchDB improvements you'd like to make? Perhaps we could schedule a video
conference with you, Ben, me, and anyone else interested in participating?
