I think this should not be closed. This issue is about the apache/couchdb
project providing deb packages.
http://couchdb.apache.org/ still only shows a ubuntu 1.6 deb package, none for
debian.
Nobody will find these deb packages, and if they do, hopefully most of them
will ask themselves: Why should I trust a random (sorry) unknown entity that I
never heard of to provide a debian package that I'd install on my system ?
Please consider both points, and provide proper packages from your website.
