In various places we've improved the status code of errors from 401
Unauthorised to 403 Forbidden to better match the HTTP spec.
Unfortunately the replicator was not taught to anticipate this and so sends
misleading db_not_found errors when it can't open a database because of a 403
forbidden result.
I'll submit a small PR to improve error handling.
