I have to run compaction directly on port 5986 - on appropriate shard. The deleted file appears as leaked, however it is cleaned after a short period of time (without reporting anything to the log file). It seems that somebody has already fixed this in the newest version. It probably performs some cleanup periodically (aprox each minute) Before you close the issue please verify my observation.
