This was my mistake 🤦♂ I had `{couch_httpd_auth, default_authentication_handler}` set for `chttpd` in my local setup which was redirecting request there. All good now and it works like a charm. We'll upgrade our dev/staging servers to run this cherry-picked change. Thanks!
