This is a good spot @robman87 . The previous 8.x release expected the user
to pass `requestDefault: { jar: true }` to coerce request to remember and
regurgitate cookies.
It might be worth adding this in here. I can have a look at this tomorrow.
Noting that there is an axios cookie jar
