After reading the documentation it seemed logical to me that the api should return "400 - database name invalid" because otherwise it would not have been specified in the documentation since it will never be returned. It's the same for `delete`. The documentation of `head` and `get` implies that the 404 takes precedence over the 400? If that is the case I'll close this issue and will put up a pr for on update of the documentation. Usually I would not have noticed but I am writing a CouchDB client and use the documentation to define my integration tests. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
