There are a few ways to use fewer Dockerfiles, see https://github.com/esl/packages/blob/master/builders/erlang_debian.Dockerfile#L187 for example. At the top we have base image (etc) as arguments, and this one dockerfile can build for several debian and ubuntu releases, the differences are handled with conditional clauses. anyway, not rewriting this whole thing, just saying we don't need quite as much duplication as we currently have. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
