Review Comment:
   I saw that section of the RFC but these UUID's will _not_ be stored as 
128-bit binary values anywhere in couchdb; that section does not apply to 
document id strings. It _would_ make sense if we were populating a database 
column with such values, which is the clear intention of ยง6.13.
