Using this `couch_stats:sample([couchdb,open_databases]).` I see only 24 open databases on my problem server and my max_dbds_open is set to 80000. From what I gather from other admins, this is a legacy setting from when we had couchdb 1.x. It is totally possible my server is exhausting file descriptors so I'll also look into that. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
