First point, CouchDB does not alter the shard map of a database after creation. So if the 6th node had a distinct erlang node name, there's no mechanism in couchdb for it to create files there for existing databases. the timestamps on the files are different on node 6, which tells me something created a database of the same node at node 6 before it joined the cluster. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
