@big-r81 for error,enoent case yeah good hunch, we don't fsync the directory when we swap files, maybe that's the reason? The main cause in the issue is something else, it's skipping purges by the view. Where a view decides to "jump over" some purges instead of processing them and it happens during view compaction.
