ctakes has dependencies on jdom, xerces and jaxb to handle xml parsing and/or
writing. In total this is about 3MB in jar files. That isn't much, but we can
cut it in a third. In addition, using one api should make comprehension and
maintenance easier.
This isn't critical, but it should be relatively simple for anybody to do
without nlp knowledge.
One or more of these might be required by some other dependency (e.g. uima), so
it is possible that we can't really clear any.
I think that anti-xml is for scala and probably needs to remain.
