I had a short conversation on the dev list about this, and it turns out that 
adding new syntax is not necessary a good compromise (maybe it is for those who 
do this a lot, but... can't make everybody 100% happy). Instead, we could just 
add a new built-in (a {{?something}} thingy):

{{<@m?spread_args(myHash) x=1 y=2 />}}

{{someCallable?spread_args}} returns a callable (directive/function/method) 
that has some parameters already set to default values (aka. currying), and it 
expects an argument hash/sequence instead of directly specified arguments.
