The cursor thing meant to be beneficial if someone (or something) gets the sequence elements by index, because, usually, you access adjacent (or even just nearby) indexes. But I was just thinking about the data structure that we have, and how to avoid it being surprisingly slow for the said seemingly basic use case. Maybe it's not something that happen in templates?
