`doFirst` is a bad idea with respect to configuration caching in Gradle.
Replace with a separate task to generate the requested classpath. See
https://guides.gradle.org/using-build-cache/#suggestions_for_authoring_your_build

Gradle task-inputs create dependencies, but dependency declaration does
not generate input coupling.
