I don't think "wraps" fits the intention now. Some further (non-blocking) thoughts: "Stays positive" sort of refers to the old implementation and not the current intention. I seems as if the intention is that it can now hold values well beyond max int. Or perhaps simply that it's a long. At the moment, I can't think of a demonstrably better name.
