Overriding column names for embedded properties is supported and documented in the Grails `8.0.x` Hibernate 7 guide: https://github.com/apache/grails-core/blob/c6ce3fe8bdc4ced884d6f6a669b98ea85722d7eb/grails-data-hibernate7/docs/src/docs/asciidoc/domainClasses/gormComposition.adoc#L49-L62. We are closing this as resolved in the Grails 8 line.
