Head commit for run: 7ff720a7cc959f20f59c0804612a5d8640617e7d / Mattias Reichel <[email protected]> Keep 8.0.x source compatible with Groovy 6 These changes compile and behave the same on Groovy 5, and remove the Groovy 6 upgrade's source changes that do not depend on Groovy 6. - Class literals: Groovy 6 does not accept a parameterized type or a type parameter as a class literal (GROOVY-12319). GrailsBanner, the OAuth2 base service, StartMongoGrailsUnitExtension and a SiteMesh spec use the raw type, and ParameterizedGrailsUnitTest looks the bean up by the type under test instead of T. - @Delegate: WriteFilteringMap excludes put, putAll and remove, and DirtyCheckingList and DirtyCheckingSortedSet exclude reversed, so the tracking overrides stay the methods that are called. Groovy 6 generates delegated methods over them. On Groovy 5 the generated methods are unchanged, except that WriteFilteringMap.remove(key, value) is no longer delegated to the backing map: Map's default now routes it through the tracking remove(key), so the removal is recorded. - The system property override for a custom Geb browser factory is implemented in Java as ThreadLocalPropertyScope. A lookup backed by a Groovy closure recurses until a StackOverflowError on Groovy 6, which reads a system property while dispatching a call. - GormEntityTransformSpec also finds a trait method whose type-variable parameters Groovy 6 specializes to the implementing class, and the Validateable test class implements the trait's static methods so the joint compilation stub stays legal on Groovy 6.0.0 (GROOVY-12427). New specs cover WriteFilteringMap mutators, ThreadLocalPropertyScope and the OAuth2 role names.
