`generate-views` renders `template('scaffolding/' + name)`.
`TemplateRendererImpl.template()` loads `src/main/templates/` before the
classpath copy, so an edited `src/main/templates/scaffolding/index.gsp` is the
file that is rendered.
That lookup is in commit `cfd9515fdd` on `8.0.x`, `8.1.x`, and `9.0.x`, and
it is in 7.0.17, 7.1.7, 7.2.4, and 8.0.0-RC2.
