`grails-app/conf/logback.groovy` is not loaded. Logback 1.2.9 removed Groovy configuration, and the logging guide says that support has been removed since Grails 5.1.2. To use a Groovy config again, add the logback-groovy-config library named in that guide: https://github.com/apache/grails-core/blob/v8.0.0-RC2/grails-doc/src/en/guide/conf/config/logging.adoc That page is on `8.0.x`, `8.1.x`, and `9.0.x`, and it is in 7.0.17, 7.1.7, 7.2.4, and 8.0.0-RC2. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
