Agreed, we'll split it by Gradle project and stack the PRs, as you both suggested. The head pushed today (`d306b88712`) is merged up to `origin/9.0.x` and fixes what was behind the test failures: four regressions of the conversion (an `equals()` that recursed in Groovy and broke every GSP layout lookup and the AOT startup check, a verifier-time class load in `DefaultUrlMappingsHolder`, a Windows path comparison in a new spec, and a proxy recursing through its own getter), plus the RAT exclusions. The description has the details. That makes it the reference the per-project PRs are cut from; this PR stays open as the umbrella and goes to draft. Order: the `grails-data-hibernate7` modules first (they unblock the native domain binding work in #16568, which is based on this branch today and will be rebuilt on that PR instead), then the remaining modules bottom-up in dependency order, each compiling and passing on its own. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
