Head commit for run: ea0698edeb658f23bdc87b56762de9dfc4e19500 / James Daugherty <[email protected]> Address the second review of the Spring AI integration Streaming: a publisher that emits at most one item, such as a Mono, is no longer streamed. As Spring MVC does, Grails resolves it and treats its value as the action's result, the way a returned Promise's value is; which publishers are single-valued is what Spring's ReactiveAdapterRegistry says. A stream has no timeout unless grails.async.streaming.timeout sets one, as a Spring MVC server-sent event stream has none. The two built-in renderers are always consulted last, so a renderer that is not Ordered still wins over them. The change is in the 8.1 upgrade guide. Testing support: the stubs stay off outside the test environment, with a warning, unless grails.ai.stub.enabled is set to true. The model and vector-store stubs are fallback beans, so a bean the application defines in resources.groovy or doWithSpring, which is registered after the auto-configuration conditions are evaluated, is the one injected; the example application proves it with an application class of its own. The vector-store stub sorts after every other auto-configuration, so an embedding model a provider supplies exists for its condition. The stub embedding never returns a zero vector. A strict scripted model is turned off again with the script before every feature. The selection properties come from SpringAIModelProperties, and the tests now prove the prompt-response pairing and the back-off of every stub type. Forge: the provider features are offered to applications only, and write no API key: Spring AI reads OPENAI_API_KEY and ANTHROPIC_API_KEY itself, and an unresolved placeholder would be sent as the key. The grails-ai-developer skill is registered with the dependency graph, the end-to-end skill builds and their spec. Docs use the Forge CLI form of create-app, the AI streaming section has a title of its own, the Spring AI version is stated, and the remaining nits are applied.
