Hi @matrei , I'd like to take this if you haven't started. Plan: when no fetch mode is mapped, ManyToOneValuesBinder uses FetchMode.SELECT for lazy associations and keeps FetchMode.DEFAULT for eager ones, as you suggested, with ManyToOneValuesBinderSpec rows for both cases.
