The shared scanner is up as #16735 (`feat/sql-text-8.0.x`), together with `HqlText`, the one reading of an HQL query that `HqlQueryContext.prepare` now uses. Rebasing this fix on it makes the root-query unwrapping a call to `SqlText.unwrapOuterParentheses()` at the start of that reading, and `SqlTextSpec` already carries the parenthesized-root rows and the union branches, which stay as they are by design; the union case from #16712 is then the one thing left to handle here. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
