A miss two levels into one of its elements, config.app.rows[0].cols[1].missing.deeper, threw NullPointerException where 7.0.x gave a null-safe navigator, from application.yml and application.properties alike, and a field written as db.url stayed one entry of the plain element. The container is now held for an indexed key merged into any map below the root, as it is for one whose owner is a nested map: a held list of nested maps, beside the entries for its elements.
