URL: https://github.com/apache/grails-core/pull/16833

   Fixes #16832

   On Hibernate 5, `deleteAll()` and `updateAll()` on a `DetachedCriteria`
ignored `max` and `offset` and wrote to every matching row, because a bulk
write is one statement with no `LIMIT`. They now throw
`InvalidDataAccessResourceUsageException` naming the value and write nothing,
as Hibernate 7 does since #16822.

   - `HibernateSession` (H5) applies the same `rejectPagination` check.
   - `BulkWriteGuardScenarioSpec` runs on both the H5 and H7 example apps;
removing the H5 `deleteAll` guard makes it fail.
   - The 8.0 upgrade note says H5 follows the same rule.

   Behaviour change on H5 for callers who relied on the limit being ignored.
Flagged for the team since it deviates from earlier H5 behaviour. Stacked on
#16822.
